Replacing Your uPVC Door Panel

​A uPVC door panel is easily changed and customers can update them for a variety of reasons, when you purchased your uPVC door you chose a door panel with a design you liked at that time, however it doesn’t mean you have to always have that design as uPVC door panels are easily upgraded or replaced. It may be that the panel has been damaged or that the glass unit has failed, whatever the reason we can give you a good match for your door. uPVC door panels come in 3 finishes, White, Mahogany Wood-grain and Oak Wood-grain and to complicate things further the white panels have to be matched to the colour of door profile as each manufacturer has it’s own distinct profile colour.Panel DesignThere are hundreds of designs to choose from, however they all revolve around what can be added to the basic design of about 10 panels. The enhanced designs are achieved by routing out different parts of the panel and inserting patterned or decorative glass units into the cutouts.Panel thicknessuPVC panels come in 3 different thicknesses, 20mm, 24mm, 28mmPanel reinforcementWe only sell panels with an MDF core as cheaper aternatives have only got a polystyrene in betweeen the the two pvc skins.
